Bright Light Medical Imaging: MRI and Advanced Imaging

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I had a great experience. The staff members at the desk when I got there greeted me and were kind and cheerful off the bat. I was nervous going in, but that helped ease my nerves a bit! Christina did my ultrasound and she is absolutely WONDERFUL. I’ve had bad experiences previously with medical professionals, but she re-instilled my faith that medical professionals aren’t always so scary and can have brilliant bedside manner! Great experience overall, honestly.

I had a knee xray done, the time spent there was moderate. The front desk people need to greet patients better, I came in and nobody greeted me. I directed to the blonde lady sitting on the left side desk and she was rude. As I was leaving, I said thank you and I was going to follow with a you ladies have a nice day but nobody even responded to my thank you. A couple week ago I went to the Melrose Park location and they had a better customer service than this location.

This place was so dirty and gross! The lady told me to take off my shoes and get on the imaging bed. When I did, I stepped in blood. There were a ton of blood droplets on the floor. It was not my blood. Blood was also on the side of the bed. So I showed her and she wiped it up with a tissue and then didn’t wash her hands. Then I layer I. The table and she touched me to find my belly button. When the machine started and the bed pulled me in, you could very clearly see what appeared to be boogers on the arch of the machine where I was laying directly underneath. There were other dirty spots on there too I’m guessing it never gets wiped down. Additionally, the chair in the room has coffee stains all over it. Then, even the door knobs and the doors are just so yucky. I couldn’t wait to get out of there and will never come back. I also let Dr Domb know that that place is disgusting. I did not know you were going to sent me a survey- but I took the pictures of the disgustingness so I could show him. So happy to include in this survey so hopefully you can spare other patients from having this experience. I wouldn’t take much to simply clean up. But clearly, no one is taking the time to do anything about it.

Good staff. Very helpful. I’ve been coming to bright light for years and have always had the same tech do my mammograms. Hee name is JJUDY. She has done my mammogram since I started coming. She’s SO good at her job and I feel super comfortable her in a somewhat uncomfortable exam. I also love that Bright Lught has all the machines that are needed for the exams my doctor has ordered.

I’ve been to the Bright Light facility in Elk Grove Village three times for various imaging. The admin staff and medical techs at are excellent! Everyone is very kind and considerate and they take time to answer your questions and inform you about the procedures. They are all really good at their jobs. In a medical system that’s riddled with fear mongering and patient disrespect, this group is so refreshing. Highly recommended.
